  • Actor Tom Hanks and his wife went to the state’s highest court to settle a dispute over their multimillion dollar Sun Valley home.
Hanks and actress wife, Rita Wilson, asked the Idaho Supreme Court to review a district judge’s decision that rejected the couple’s bid for arbitration with Storey Construction. Last month, 5th District Court Judge Robert J. Elgee denied the couple’s request for arbitration, ruling the matter was settled in 2004 when an arbitrator awarded $1.85 million to the builder in unpaid contract balance, interest and legal fees.

  • MPC is back on track with the AMEX, after sending a letter of compliance. MPC Corporation will be subject to periodic review by the AMEX staff during the extension period.
