The company that owns TableRock BrewPub & Grill in Boise has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Table Rock Brewing Inc., 705 Fulton St., claimed more than $275,000 in liabilities and less than $50,000 in assets in bankruptcy court papers filed on July 10. More than $200,000 is owed to the Internal Revenue Service.
Chapter 7 bankruptcy means the company’s assets will be liquidated and distributed to creditors under the oversight of a trustee. However, the company predicts in court papers that no funds will be available to distribute to any of its creditors after administrative expenses related to the filing are paid.

TableRock opened in 1991.

Owner Mike Fitzgerald could not be reached for comment.

The filing was first reported on the Idaho Statesman’s Web site.
